Ok i know this should be in the vw section, but if mr TD can be patient and leave this here for a day or 2 that would be great.

Got one of these in the next day or so and looking for any tips or advice on this ( please dont just say cake, etc etc as not want to her that)
I seen from Pan european that the second battery needs to have a permanent feed if the cars not running, but is this a load of poop.gif dunno.gif
Any help would be great beer.gif

For what reasons is it a pain? Any ideas?

Fbigeyes.gif WOW, that's good to know, never done one, but when I first read the thread, I thought he was refering to doing an alarm/stereo (something electronic) gasp.gif I don't like cars that have issues like that

Hey Davie,

Just PM'd you and have read this thread. Kinda makes my PM look a bit lame Flaugh.gif but jeez I'm glad I didn't read it before I did the Phaeton otherwise i'd have been poop.gif myself.

Take his point about seat heater matrix but we have never gone to those lengths - we do cover the inside with drop sheets. We do also start cars up periodically even if they have trickle chargers on them.

Feel sure it will go sweet - you've done top end cars and this will be no different. beer.gif

Hi Guys, I've been asked to do this car tomorrow or to be exact the Bentley Flying Spur. Can anyone please tell me if I use a trickle charger then can I leave the ignition on for more than 20 minutes without the car shutting down?

Also, I only have a standard 4 amp trickle charger, would this be sufficient for the job?

Thanks for help.
Oscar Tint

Thanks for the quick reply. Yes you did and I had a look at it already.

I also went to have a look at the car I was suppose to tint, unfortunately (or rather fortunately for me orngbiggrin.gif ) it was a false alarm. It's a 2 door Bentley GT not the Flying Spur. So won't have the problem with the ignition.

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
