a real problem. the shop down the street told a custy he also had 3M film, even pointed to a box in the back of his van. we started flattening all the boxes after that... his shop is now a cellular store, no more tint.. a few years back he even coppied my work van. year, make, model, only thing different was the name, same font and colors.

Not all Llumar films fade after 3 years... That is if you use a film that is color stable and fade resistant. All manufacturers have films that fade within 3 years as well as films that won't, chances are most of us professionals on this board choose not to offer cheapies thumb.gif

Pretty sure I have a competitor that offers Llumar flat glass samples and installs Johnson. Its frustrating sometimes! I just couldn't see doing business like that.

if we are going to be truthfull here...any film that has a dye it in ..and i dont care what kind it has..it will fade..it may take a little longer ..but it will fade.

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
