I'm curious who here HONESTLY removes the 1/4 glass on Accords ..I never used to, but after a couple of them..it's easier and quicker than I first thought it would have been..a good "up" on the competition if your the only one in your area that does it that way too
I remove em' .... it's so easy and sets you apart from everyone else.....
I cuss the Qtr removal people when I have to strip the Accord
Im the only one in my area that pulls the quarters. I do charge extra.
So easy a kid can do it. If you look in my profile (son helping at shop) it shows how my son pulls them. Hes good help.
I pull the quarters on several vehicles, accords, fusion, older camrys, and quite a few others. Once I realized how easy it is, I've done it more and more.
Back to original topic, It's too bad the new accord back window isn't the extreme cake of the previous, but it's not bad.
how do you pull them do they have screw or are they set
first you must remove the door panel.under the sealing is one screw.and is one more on the top .and job is done
Piece of cake , you do not need to felt
YO TW im a quarter window remover. That's why im on here, I have an 08 and was wondering if pulling the quarters would be worth it. Looks like im pullin them.
with the new accords you dont have to remove the 1/4 glass...you can slide the film in past the gasket. I have only done 2 but both had ventshades on so I tried sliding instead and it went fine. Only thing I cant remember is if that was an 08 or an 09...but I am thinking 09
I'll try that next time. I didnt have any problems taking the glass out though.
Did one today, slipped the film past the gasket, cake

going back to the beginning of the post..................double check to see if it is felt or not, i just did one for a friend and it was like the stangs and all that. Had to felt it! Also found that the very front of the front doors by the little triangle speaker was way tight, might be a good idea to drop the film lower than normal there!
