yes you can, but i wouldnt recommend it. it takes the security away from your vehicle and makes it real easy to steal by hot wiring it. but yes with a bypass kit and a relay wired correctly into your ignition harness can do what your wanting to do.

Lots of times you can pop the hood, loosen the hood pin switch (factory), turn it sideways and tighten back up... The car security system will see the hood open and not arm the 'security' portion of the system..

I don't think he's referring to the factory alarm. He's talking about the anti-theft setup in the key.
Vasya, if you are trying to program another key to use with a remote start, you might have to go to the dealer. They hook up a portable computer to program extra keys. I used to have to do that for every Nissan I put a remote start on. Now I use Idatalink modules that learn the code of the key and reproduce that same signal (I think). No trip to the dealer, the customer doesn't lose a key, and I only need 1 key to program my module.

if you have one ignition key u are in good shape, that is all that you will need to add a remote start system
Bypasskits Part XK07 will bypass the factory security in the key
or Fortin Part Can-SL2.
For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
