remote start for ford f150

hi,
i have had a remote start on my f150 for about 3 years now. all of a sudden the remote will start the truck but the key wont. i know sometimes the key wouldnt start it, but if you went through the motion of remote starting it and cutting it off the key will start it,,that didnt happen often. but now the key wont start it at all. does anyone know why? any advice is welcomed.

Take it to Ford for repair.....

key lost transponder programing needs to be recoded

Does your key have a transponder in it??? If yes and only one of your keys won't start it, it's more than likely a key transponder problem. If neither one of your keys will start the vehicle it could be your ignition switch. Either way its an easy fix, take it back to whomever installed the remote start and let them check it, they'll be able to diagnose and repair the problem.
