I have just moved to NJ from PA. I have the darkest tint on the back windows allowed by PA law and also a light tint on my front windows. However now that I moved into NJ I have to get my car inspected again, and have found that NJ law doesn't allow for front window tint???!!! Anybody have any suggestions on what I can do. I really don't want to rip off the tint! Also I had the tint put on by a prof. so if the worst case happens that I do have to take it off...what is the best way for a novice to take off tint?

I am not asking you guys for illegal ways of getting around this. But have also heard of things like getting a waiver form...etc. Or if Inspection stations sometimes not fail vehicles for tint? Stuff like that. I figured most on here were pro's or very into tinting, so you all would be the best to ask. I also had a second part to my post...asking about removal.

remove the tint off the two front doors,if your car has a third brake light ,that is not built in the wing, the tint covering the light has to be cut out.. twocents.gif

If you are gonna reside in PA, you're pretty much stuck with PA laws. No getting around it, unless you can get a medical exemption. It won't stop them from pulling you over, tho....

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
