same as last year...hate the matrix on the top....bulldozer for the 3rd brake light.
it has an approx. 1" matrix that is super fine and tall. it gives me fits. black vinyl works. im going to try the headlight sealer on the next one.
the rear deck is all plastic.i leave it in and roll it out from the center. i leave the panels on since the seals be felted
oh damn...theres that ghetto ass vinyl trick again....listen people, i know most of you been tinting since like 1975 and all but the techiques have changed since then...what was good then, is old school now. get the glue man, yes i know that the hondas are hard to glue since the dots are smaller,

the matrix area is not as wide as the accord coupe...so therefore, glue method here is not necessary. Just shrink and lay the tint on the BG first...then tint the sides as usual, then blue max and squeegee w/cloth on the BG matrix area, will lay down fine.
Panel removal is real easy too on the civic coupe....only 4 screws and your done. You guys and your egos never cease to amaze me. The guy asks a simple question and look whats happened.
I get the luck of doing my first 08 civic coupe tonight. actually get to do 2 back to back. apparently according to yal on here, it shouldnt be a problem? Im off to do it.
The Civic coupe is pretty easy. Of course theres the 2 inches of dot matrix all across the top, until the right top gives way to just an inch of dots below a 'black box'. Much easier than the Accord coupe I have coming in tomorrow. That thing has a full 5-6 inches of dot matrix. The last one I vinyled, but I'm out, so it's the Elmers glue this time. BTW, I used the blue glue on the last Civic coupe and it came out great.
For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
