I personally think the officer safety issue is a joke, why would you approach a car if you cant see inside? Thats what the PA system is for, make them roll the windows down and get out of the car before approaching!

all it is a probable cause law IMO..one of may reasons just to pull you over and search your chit. or get you for something bigger then having your windows to dark.

my cop friends tell me its an excuse to pull the vehicle over,then they run the drivers licence.he said the find MANY drivers with warrents and suspended licences.sux for us.many of my Dr*g running cutomers dont want tint!

Every officer I have done work for, says that is the only reason to pull you over for tint.
