very nice, what did you use to tool it with.
H.G.
It's an Albion 258-5S , I rounded the corners to meet the tape on mullion and glass, 1/2 " on both gives a 3/4 " wide 45degree bead.
Any place that sells bulk caulking and tools should have them. I'm currently working on using an electric gun and doing away with all the taping,
but with dow it's gonna take a bit getting used to . thumb.gif

Cox : made in England thumb.gif I'm using the Milwaukee but DeWalt makes one too along with the others noted . I am thinking of getting the DeWalt so all my tools are yell rollin.gif w.
After you dremel the corners you'll want to make sure they are smooth so they don't grab the tape . It's stainless so it takes a little work to get them good.

Thanks for the vote of competence, and there was some blood when I slipped with the dremel lol2.gif

i only have to do the 995 once or twice per year so i'm no expert. the other day i dipped the tool i use in soapy water before running it across the bead and got fantastic results. has anyone else done this?

i could use a couple milwaukee or whoever's electric's. variable speed prefered, where's the best place to buy one.
hooligantintboy
beer.gif everyone,
i have been using milwaukee electric cox guns for years, got a 10oz tube gun and a 20oz sausage pack gun, funny thing is i was never that good with the tape off method dunno.gif .definitly worth the $$$$$$ saves time and no wasted 995 i got mine str8 from milwaukee. and if you use the new 3M cox it works better with the electric guns.both guns have an infinite dial speed control and trigger speed conrtol as well.pricey but pays for itself in one or two jobs. thumb.gif

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
