Yesterday we finished around 2000 sqt of 4mil for the local UN office. Everything went pretty smooth, the install went on all glass inside the office to protect against glass shatters in case of an earthquake. They had the window facing outside covered with 8mil, the worst install I have seen in my life, made by 3M directly....

We begun at around 9.30am and finished at around 5.30pm, had 5 installers and 1 helper, I just did a little bit of cutting with a new cutting-help device I invented on friday for this job...

So You install Your film on existing? We did many same jobs on UN or American government buildings.....Film on film - and sometimes 2-3 times....That's funny, but hard for installers....

Nice crew vzla beer.gif What kind of cutting device did you come up with?

5 installers 400ft per and a helper piece of cake to knock out 2K ft of 4mil.

NO, there is no way I would have installed on the existing film. There are windows that face to the street that had already 8mil, then there are office devisions and doors out of glass, that's were we put our 4mil on.

Something very cool to cut right out of the box for this thinner films. I'll make a few modifications and post a few pics...

Why? Every client has its own requierements, in this case 4mil was the appropiate film to use. We have installled up to 60mil in offices... rollin.gif rollin.gif rollin.gif

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
