I have an 1992 S10 Extended cab pickup that was tinted when it was new. After all these years the tint is starting to show its age and I was wondering
if it is an easy job for a shop to remove the old door window tint and install something fresh? I'll pull the door panels for them if that helps.
16 years and 300,000 miles on a tint job has me impressed.

we strip old tint almost everyday...so its not a problem however-expect a fee for the cleanup!

Just out of curiosity does it have a legal sticker on the doors maybe stating what brand it is 
No sticker. It was done after the truck was delivered to the dealer. It must be aftermarket. When I bought the truck the job was so good I thought it was just tinted glass from the factory until one day stupid me locked the keys in the truck and they scratched the film opening the lock.
