I was just wondering if anyone else has ever had this problem. i had an 03 saleen in the shop to day and the passenger side door was nearly 3/8 inch shorter than the driver. i hand cut both my patterns at the same time on the passenger side so when i got to the drivers door it was WAY to small. so i recut it and it came out great. i know its not uncommon to have different sizes but i have never seen that much difference on the same car. anyone else ever seen this? dunno.gif

I ALWAYS cut frameless doors individually, no matter the car. They are almost never the same

perhaps the window was replaced and since they are frameless doors, whom ever installed that glass must have left misaligned somewhere in there dunno.gif which caused you to fock up Flaugh.gif

i know it wasn't my cut. it fit perfect on the passenger side and was short in the back on the driver side. i got my tape and measured the thing like 4 or 5 times. it was crazy! never seen that much difference on the same car. i have seen some different size windows on the same car but usually could make the pattern work on both sides.

i know. i was just saying that it was that far off. i don't see how the thing sealed. has to have some wind noise or something.

bingo.gif It can also be diffrent from the supplier to supplier, some of that cheap mexico suff is always diffrent. But most of the ones I've seen off has been at the front where the black rubber trim is shapped different. twocents.gif

Well, My 02 mustang went well! I tried something different this time after reading up on this thread. I usually cut both sides off of the driver side, Its just a habit.
Well I cut them off of the pass side on this one. I don't know if I just got lucky, but they turned out the same size.
No problems and it turned out just fine! I have had different size issues. Maybe the pass side is bigger? and that reverse duplicate would work on the smaller driver side with just a little more "tuck" at the bottom.(make sense?) hmmmmmmm.gif

I don't know! dunno.gif I think it was just luck. I absolutely hate cutting every single window seperatly.

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
