Yet another use for tint cores

kats2112
3 sheets 3/4 inch mdf.......80 bucks

some screws........ free from neighbor's fence rollin.gif

using tint rolls to store tint..........priceless!

just screw the endcaps to the wood. The silicone just helped hold it since this was
a solo project. Put a care on and shoot a screw or 2 through core and endcap.

I have a single post the same way in the middle of each shelf.
It has held up for a year now and I could climb on it.(maybe eyebrows.gif )

BTW that is NV45 and no I don't like 3m rollin.gif

It's very close to two walls just in case, but it's not even kinda wobbly!
The cores are screwed to the ends that are screwed to the MDF.
My scaffold ( believe or not I have one evilgrin.gif ) has fallen over onto it a few times
and it's holding several hundred pounds of film. thumb.gif

Way cool table and great on recycling! thumb.gif Got my vote for both. thumb.gif thumb.gif Did you attach the rolls to the end cap with adhesive, I wonder what the stuff you use to put pvc pipe together with would do on the core and end cap?

Two simple drywall screws through core into endcap. The endcaps are attached to the wood the same way.
Ignore the silicone you see it didn't really do anything but keep the cores from moveng while I heaved
the next level up. A helping hand would have been easier!

I one made a cool vertical standing nightlight out of a film core! Use the black end-cap for the base. Drill a hole dead-center, and add a lamp socket with on/off switch. Then use one of those elongated type 15 watt fish-aquarium type bulbs ( no more than 15 watts!!, or the bulbs heat will melt the plastic core and could start a fire!!),.... otherwise, it makes a nice conversation-piece until the pets knock it over!! TxRocker

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
