Hi guys got a Citroen C8 booked in tomorrow.

Anybody done one before?

Any tips or anything to worry about?

Thanks

Phone in sick............................

They are a pain in the ass!!

The side doors are electric, so you will have to crawl across the car from the other side, I tint them with the panels in place. I think the panels are a bit of a pain to strip, especially with them being electric sliders.

The rest of the car is OK - I would wire wool the heater lines before install.

not too bad in reality, as naughty says, got to carry tint from other side across seats or remove seats for the middle electric door

bottom edge quite deep with the panel on

middle doors just a little tricky biggthumpup.gif

Got it done. Wasnt too much of a problem, like u say the sliding doors are a bit of a pain.

I took the panels off. 4 screws n popped off, pretty simple.

All good anyway, another new one down so will know for next time. thumb.gif

Are the screw positions obvious?
jpwindowfilms
Hi ND.

Screws are all pretty obvious. I have taken a picture of a panel we took off today with screw holes circled.

Where the door handle is on the inside, is a a cover, just pop that off to reveal the first 2 screws. The other two are in the bottom corners as shown.

Cheers

Had a C8 in today. Non electric doors. manual rear windows
Maybe a base model ?
anyway as you say deep recess with trim in the way.
what i done is pulled the plastic door trim away at top then simply removed the weather rub strip takes 20 seconds max
no need to remove the panel as previously posted. didnt even remove top screws. loads of give on panel.
Nice clean install.
lots of window side movement at the top. & shifting so be carefull when your cutting your templates blink.gif

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
