Tinting tinted lami

There is probably a thread on this already but I need to open the argument up cause my argument was takin up with a glass installer.
Can it be done or can it not be done????? Then I will tell you what he said.

Lami is more likely to break than other glass. I've done it without problems (usually on skylites) when the glass was not very large, but be careful in choosing which film you install.

I've installed Silver 35 and 20 on tinted lami and it was only after I explained to my customer that we would not be responsible for glass breakage.

carefull choosing of the film to be installed is a must

and sometimes you just have to take it outside
