I use a combo of HO 8 footers and standard 8 footers. I like it icon_mrgreen.gif
flat rock stan
Clear covers to go over the 8 footers at home depo. Worth the money in safety. twocents.gif

Litespeeds
My recommendation would be T-5 flourescent lights as the reflectors really increase the light output and energy consumption is slightly lower too.

my new shop has some track lighting in the ceiling i pointed to the area i will be working. makes a good difference i noticed with small details. i also picked up a grow light at wal-mart in the same isle as the replacement bulbs for the heck of it cuz it was cheap. $10. put in a back glass and awesome. never have to go back in to move it. lights up big time. and you can grow things with it. if times get tough, i plan to grow my own food in my shop with my back glass light rollin.gif

we have the standard eight footers, but what has really made the difference is our recent switch to the nice daylight bulbs. they are so much brighter and easier on the eyes at the same time. they seem to spread out a little better too, so it seems as though we added fixtures when we really haven't.

Do they make halogen lighting for ceiling lit applications??

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
