anyone have or know of a fairly priced music on hold setup? So when you place your customers on hold you can play either music or advertisement talk about your products & services ? Any info is appreciated.

i used one from phonepeople.com. forwards a toll free to any phone. and you can pick the # if its available. and versatile even if you don't need the toll free you can still use it. pick from different music. you can even separate it into different extensions if you wanted. $10 a month. can't beat the price. works great. check it out.

however, i'm not sure if it plays music when you hit the hold button on your phone. however it does play a message or music when someone calls in until you answer i know for sure.

depending on your phone system, you can use a receiver and interface to hook it up. Most business phone systems have inputs for the on hold system.

we just use regular analog phones anyone know of an affordable music on hold system for analog phones ?

A good friend here just picked up a phone system that will give him the ability to pick up local raido stations for about $200 (it has many other options as well). Mabey talk to a local phone contractor about somthing simple like that.

we use this, my buddy is an Avaya retailer and set me up, I'm happy
