cutting out of the box

Full Version: cutting out of the box
inexpensive way to stabilise the box(would not move forward, when you pull the film) i use velcro tape, stick one piece to the bottom of the box on either side and the other two pieces to the floor, pull the film to desired length and cut,the box stays stagnant...hope this helps
i just use the same tape from auto tinting and run a few strips across the box on the floor.

security film you should be able to "push" out of the box.
how about taping it against the wall? the velcro thing wouldnt work too well on carpet.

Good tip, but I just pull it up in the air rather than out away from the box then bring it towards the floor. This tip would be useful when security film box gets lower on quantity
I just use a filmhandler...
I'll be sure to give that a try. It seems like it would work. Thanks.

Then I pull the film up inbetween the box and cardboard square giveing the film a straight edge. 3rd motion on the hook side down...the box would not move at all...or I just put my blue max in front of the box and it stays in place..
