bmw rear brake light

why does everybody cut the brake lights out on the bimmers? its the easiest thing to remove and looks so much better.

It depends the new ones have a snap off cover on top. The older ones have a boarder at the bottom. Why take of the rear deck just to tint that. Its only a hack job when there is no black boarder and you cut around the 3rd brake. I do agree, it looks nicer tinting the over the top 3rd brake light .

no your right only when the brake light is on top. the only car to pull the rear deck out of is a benz cls.

Brake warning light comes on for a few reasons, pad wear, fluid level, master cylinder cap insecure or of course the wire has the insulation worn through and is earthing out somewhere

I always tint over the brake light, it looks cheap on some cars if you cut the light out. I think some states require that you cut around the brake light, not for sure though

I tint the full window! It's looks factory that way. Unless the custom asks for it!
