Saw these at the auto show not fond of them but cant wait to get my hands on them for I'd say about 90 minutes
I can do that car in 15 minutes, tops!

Doing the first one in Hawaii today in the showroom. There is a big photo shoot during my install.
Good thing ive done this for 23 yrs., at least I can act like I know what Im doing. Ill try to take some pictures. Trimguy QUOTE (lorenzotint @ May 24 2008, 12:31 AM) [*]621225[/*] hope I get it first ilorenzo unless your doing one today i have one booked for tomorrow so i got the first
The challenger wasnt to much of a challenge. The back brake light was under the back end of the headliner and it snaps out and has a plug. The rear deck can be pulled forward a bit for clean install. We used solargard's silver 35% (I dont like it) I would like to have used supreme for an Oaktown Raider's look. The customer was old school with the silver look like we were doing in the 80's with nichrome, titanium, and anything shiny.
He wants ppf, but none of my libraries have the pattern yet. Any suggestions? Trimguy
here is a quick picture, hope it shows up.

two slow pumps and then bam bam bam bam.....slappy nuts.
hahaha
Saw one of the RT models in podunk alabama. Dealer wanted 41K before addeing a line charge of 25K because it was #1164 of 6400 to be made. Total $68K. Mind you, this was in a town that had a population of around 2000 with a total of 3000 chicklets for their grills.....Thought I was in the twilight zone....lol
this car is super easy! i will enjoy working on them since i work at a dodge dealership
I have pics of an orange one on my driveway but i'm to lazy to put them on photobucket. One caution is that the rear side glass seems very soft so make sure you use a new blade. quick...easy...and fun car to tint.....esp the back window lol
one thing you have to be careful of when tinting this car. when you pull down the brake light, the metal clips have a tendency to stay up in the roof, and whats worse, those particular clips are extremely hard to find by themselves.

I just rode in one of these things yesterday, plan on tinting this week, will post pics, They look like a cake walk in the park. The guy actually has two of them to do , sweet deal

Arent the clips on the housing. that has to be the easiest car i have ever tinted in a loooong time. imagine a mustang with a smaller back glass. the only thing that poses a problem is the rear brake light. kind of a pita to remove, but once u remove the first one, the rest are cake.
Just finished my first Challenger. Easy car to tint. The only thing I noticed was the really thick defroster lines. That being said I cant wait to do more of these cars

brake light is the biggest piece of shat ever made! I tucked the last two I did cause every time I try to pull the light out I loose the clips no matter how easy I am with it.
personally i dont like the challengers.would way rather have a charger srt8...shiznit more ton of room in it and its just as quick
