Rear Glass Antenna 2002 Impala

Does anyone take this addl. antenna off, or do you leave it on and cut around it? I believe it is the onstar antenna, looks like a cell phone antenna from back in the day. Just wondering. I've seen another tinter take one off before, so I was wondering if it is just held on with two sided tape. I have one to do tonight with this antenna on it.

I take it off. And than put it back on with 3M double sided tape

make sure to use the grey 3M tape, with the red liner

yep, use a razor to remove the outside part then heat the glass while prying the inside off. Should be able to heat up and restick the inside part when you are ready to put it back.....

Be sure to cut out the film if you are using any metalized film as the signal will be reduced very bad if not.....
