Name Help

I thought that "Black Window" would be a good name for a tint shop I mean you make the windows black and window is so close to widow that it makes sense...I have recently been advised to make it "Black Widow Window Tint"...I like both names but I can't deside and with the fact I came up with the first one and my wife the second I can't get her opinion and well let's face it my daughter is 19 months she can't deside...the dog either, next best thing ask here.

I don't care for the black widow one, out of those two black window is better but you need a name with a little more pop.

Neither catches it with me.

Back to Black...........That is if you want the word black to feature?

You'll find alot of customers don't like the black look and think it looks ghetto. So that name might scare away more conservative customers.

Goto Synonym.com. Type in words like tinting, shade, glare, etc...to find out what other words can relate to tint. Thats what I did and got about 30 different ideas from that.

who is your customer? what market are you going after? auto? flat? that can make a difference in your name. black - not good for flat... ok for auto

I work in the upper class part of the burbs....so I had to find a name that would not scare off the custy's. You should take where you live, such as middle class, upper, low income etc. Has to be something that most of your custy's can relate to. Like where I live there is a shop that does all the graphis, flames and things in there tint. They get the younger people....where as I get the older peps that drive BMW's etc and I get paid more. IMO you cannot go wrong with a classy name and logo.

Look at your market and think about a name. In the ghetto or like, names like Tint My Ride and Big Pimpin' Window Tintin' might work. In upscale heighborhoods, names like Classic Window Tinting and Specialty Window Film Installations work better. Find your target customer and work from there!
