Oops. He just called. Something came up about some money he says. Can't do it today. Oh well, back to the usual customers that can afford me.

Full Version: Storm door in a duplex.
Market to anyone I guess. Have a customer in a assisted living duplex today... wants some privacy and glare control. Flat glass is wide open. I'm going to try some marketing to a wider audience.

I've done a couple of freebies like that. Breaks my heart to see someones grandma stuck in a chair
and all she wants is to see outside the door without burning up or being watched. If you are already there, and they can't afford it ( they usually have no idea it costs so much), Why not just knock it out for whatever thay had in mind. Or Pro Bono ya can't make a living doing it, but you feel great when you are driving away!
I've done that too, and it does leave you with a good feeling.
Ditto.
Once in a while even darkdan has to walk in the light.
... guilty too... i did my grandparents whole house so my grandma could sit in their windows that face the farm and not burn up in the afternoon... they face west... I've done more than that, but that was probably the most expensive example.
funny. i never get anything for free

Nice to see someone with a big heart BUT, with the money those assisted living communities charge per person, they could afford to pay for those themselves, not the tennants, cheap azz basturds, my grandmother stayed in one before she passed, at $2200.00 a month for a room, they could afford a to tint a door (TINT @ Jun 11 2008, 09:31 PM) [*]624199[/*] funny. i never get anything for free funny, I remember sending you some film for free
For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
