Hi guy,
I am tinting a solarium. The flat glass roof has been done. Now, I reach the radius glass where the roof meet the wall. I find that it is a challenge with the side edges. The 5-way tool is straight, so I acn not use it as trime guide. I would like to maintain a consistent gap just like when I use the 5-way tool on the side edges. Do you know if there is a tool available for this purpose?
I guess you would face the same problem when you trim curved shape flat glass too. How would you trim and maintaint a consistent gap at the edge? Thanks, Xeu

Try using just the corner of the 5 way. You will have to move your 5 way hand and knife hand at the same time as you trim the film.

white hard card sand it down to whatever thickness you want for the gap

just use knife barely have the blade out and use the other hand to follow in front of knife to make sure the film stays through the curve thats what i do at least

Like Matthew say's , but usually arches are on ladders or scaffold and you are reaching so what I do is with the same hand my knife is in ,the back fingers are laying the film down before the blade .

Thanks... These are very cool tips. I'try them.
For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
