bidding for security film job

Hello Guys
I have to prepare a quotation for security film jobs for small size company.around 500 sq feet

What should I have think in my price quotation? Anything important to think about?

Usually its standard to charge $1 per mil of film....so if you are bidding 7mil then $7 per sf. And then charge per linear foot for any attachment or dow install. Take this as a basic idea and charge what you think your work is worth and make sure you make enough profit.

$7.00 a square for security film would be on the low side in my market. a dollar a mil? i've never heard that before. anyone else?

it all depends on who makes the film...you cant go by $1 a mil...i personally wouldnt do it..unless i wanted to lose my shorts on the deal.

i dont know about a dollar a mil but between 7 and 10 a square sounds right

Normal 1.5 mil film Starts at $6/sq. Security film starts at a minimum of $10. (Have gone as high as $20) It is much more work, and therefore you should charge for it. Since you are in Canada, the exchange may be different.....
