Honda 'soft' glass?

I've noticed it's way easy to scratch Honda windows. While cleaning the back glass of a new Accord, my scrubby sponge scratched the glass. Anyone else notice this? Never happened on any other make of car.

A few years ago I had a helper that scratched an Accord rear windshield really bad while cleaning it. We had to replace the glass because it was so bad. Luckily I have a good friend in the glass business so that helped, however it was still really expensive. Up until now i thought he was just jinxed
