Witch brand of film that is on the market now do you think is the best film for automotive use????And what brings you to this conclusion? Any information will be appreciated!!!!!!!!!
Protint #1 son..TP you will have to probably read some old posts to find out what everyone likes..This site can be monitored by the manufacturers and none of us wants to get sued..just kidding..those manu's can't read let alone get here.
Gees... this reminds metint of meself when I posted the first time.
As if...
I like all films wich one do you represent?
U know my answer
Call some of the manufacturers and ask for sample rolls for you to try out. See what you like to work with and the price and go from there. You can't go wrong if you stick with a big company that gives you great customer service.
I would love to try some of that fil LND but no samples here

Well sense no one will step up I will. I've used the following films. 3m, llumar, solargard, and johnson. So far they have all worked very well, and they all have their good points. 3m looks the best, but is very pricey and could a pain to shrink(and they know that). Llumar (atr line) is great to work with, no window I cant shrink. Solargard is easy to work with and looks good. Johnson is very easy to work with a great price, but a little to reflective for my taste. Madico has a new line, but havent used it yet. I have two different lines I use (sometimes three). Its up to the cutomer what I put on (price, color of car, smoke or charcol, ect.) Call manufacters and ask for enough to do a COMPLETE car, NOT a window or two. hope that helps Late.
QUOTE Well sense no one will step up I will. yeah your right newbie, no one here EVER steps up and answers a question do they? FWIW, I carry 3M's CS, Madico Onyx, and Solar Optik (a private label from SunTek/CP). Even though it's pricey, I like the 3M film best since it's the easiest to "upsell" to customers and we get an extra $25 - $50 per car for it - mainly due to the name recognition.
Now I'm not the tinter, so I can't personally confirm or deny the shrinking issue(s), but from a strictly sales point of view (and profitability), the 3M film is great. Sure they had some problems with the panther film a while back, but when you consider it costs maybe an extra $5 - $10 per car for material - and you can get an extra $50 or so for the job, it's worth it. If you'd like to try the new Solar Optik film, let me know and I'll get you in touch with a friend that's distributing it. Great price and nice film. hamiltonevan@hotmail.com if you're interested.
3M color stable- heat shapes like butter, and it sounds like I am lying but it will shape both ways: vertically and horizontally
Madico Charcool- good lower priced film, more than johnson, llumar, sungaurd and solargard but it has the same shaping elements...like butter Huper Optik eramic 40-this is not an easy film to shape but it is the best film in the world, and not just by my mouth. QUOTE (Mr Clean @ Feb 17 2004, 12:02 PM) Madico Charcool- good lower priced film, more than johnson, llumar, sungaurd and solargard but it has the same shaping elements...like butter I must be spreading the wrong butter on my rears Mr. Clean because I find Charcool and Onyx quite difficult to play ball with when using a heat gun. A shrivel that has a mind of its own. Devil QUOTE (Eclipsed @ Feb 21 2004, 11:34 PM) i hear you eclipsed...
