Here's the real story, as I know it. Express window films is owned by the same person who owns the Global distribution and Concord window films all of Danbury Connecticut. His name is Howard. He was the formerly SunGard Northeast, until they seperated their business relationship for 'some reason'. If you look at the Sungard film they are selling, it is all remnants of old cut rolls (24" max width). They are not the New Sungard. Solamatrix purchased the assets of the former FTI and are a seperate company. Look into each online and you will find the info.

Who do you mean “they”? dunno.gif
I don’t think solamatrix (sp?) has had time to fire up with new materials and produce new film yet at the old SunG building. twocents.gif

Don't forget about new owners of SunG. They own not only SunG - but also restaurants rollin.gif . That means investors. Investors means - no idea what to sell, just sell. Sell with profit. Decrease selfcost and sell more expensive, increase margin. So...Just my thoughts....

THEY....Howard ( of Express, Global, Concord and whatever other name) and FTI (now Sloamatrix). Howard is the FORMER northeast wholesaler for Sungard, this is why his name here is SGNE (Sun Gard North East). The final THEY was for Express, since the question was 'is expresswindowfilms.com the new sungard?' Hope that clears it up for ya............... beer.gif

you look at the Sungard film they are selling, it is all remnants of old cut rolls (24" max width). THEY - EXpress

Just so everyone is clear, Solamatrix is up and running new Sun-Gard and Glass-Gard window films. The films Solamatrix are making are not the old FTI Sun-Gard films, these films are being made on updated equipment, improved formulas, and utilizing top of the line raw materials. Keep an eye on your mail, mailers with appealing offers are being sent each month. If anyone would like to ask me any questions regarding Solamatrix or Sun-Gard films please PM me directly.

Gents,

No need for speculation. The Sun-Gard Films we have for sale were manufactured by FTI (not Solarmatrix). These films remained in our inventory after our seperation.
We have no affiliation with Solarmatrix.

The films are selling quickly. If you are (or were) a fan of these products, time is running short to get yourself a good deal on some remaining rolls.

We sincerely appreciate all the kinds words that others have posted about us on Tintdude. We don't post often - we mainly stick to doing what we do best. Quality products and fair pricing, combined with careful, reliable and courteous service is what we are all about. My key staff members are all IWFA accredited. You can count on us for accurate technical support on everything we sell.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact me (Howard) Pasquale or Andrew at (800)FILM-NOW (800)345-6669

Thanks Tintdue - Keep up the Great Work !!!!!

I want to get that type of film.
Is the true smoke a grey color?
Do you know if it is metalized? What about the HP true smoke ultra, is it metalized?

Thanks

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
