I did the first Genesis to hit the local dealer today. After coming off of tinting a new S550 this morning, the Genesis looks like the engineers bought a Mercedes and tried to copy everything. It looks like a lot of cars thrown together, notably Acura and MBZ, but tinting it was quite easy. There's a fair amount of shrinking required on the back glass, even though it 'looks' nearly flat. Plenty of room behind the Mercedes inspired 3rd brake light too. The side glass requires almost no shrinking, but surprisingly the front windows are double paned, while the rest of the glass is not....something about US requirements of needing to 'hear' sirens or some such thing, which they couldn't with all double paned glass.
