The '88 is a PITA:



The glass goes all the way under that spoiler to the bottom, and there is a wiper in the way. The new ones don't look too bad, there is a coupe and a hatch back.

You have to be creative on windows like that, I wouldn't take it out, but I would take the spoiler and wiper off and seam it where the spoiler covers to make that bottom piece manageable.

thanks ill give that a shot, if not ill just tell custy i couldnt be done,although i have yet to admit defeat with anything,it would annoy me for months if i did

ok did this pos today,what a nitemare,left b/g in place seamed it under the spoiler,rear side windows were the worst trying to get a perfect pattern,probably wudve been easier to take them out but in an old car like this 1986,breakage possibility was high,imperfections everywere on the glass couldve been welding splatter,bladed them scrubbied them steel wooled them,and still got some contamination on each window,NEVER AGAIN
