sounds like your wired something wrong or the amps bad call mtx get it fixed should never over heat with the change of outside temp.

i play mine all day every day never over heat from the temp outside

Few things to check, what size wiring going to amp??? I would step up to 4 gauge and make sure its grounded as close to the amp as posibble with 4 gauge also. Is there good air circulation around amp???? Not stuck in a panel somewhere?

Yeah the wiring was smaller like 10.. and it was in a trunk.. But also i think it was a certain freq. cut out.. But have taken it out of the car sold the car so no it is in the garage but will do it that way once I put it in again..

Thanks,

10 gauge wiring???? WOW thats the problem, im also assuming there is no cap inline with the wire??? If it were mine, i would run 4 gauge back to a 1 farad cap and call it good.

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
