what is an abg #...whats the signifigance......

approval for germany that you are allowed to put this film on the car window.

has nothing to do with VLT or quality

ABG= NICE FREE TRIP FOR GERMAN GOVERNMENT PEOPLE PAYED BY FOREIGN WINDOWFILM MAKERS OR DITRIBUTORS

Really robbed - but they know way how to rob people
Without that N - we can't sell auto in Germany....

How right are You
In our case it was unbelievable trip

the major reason is too check the VLR - there is a max. of 25% here in Germany.
The biggest problem about the ABG is not the money for registration.
It takes up to several months till you get the ABG and you have to mark EVERY roll with a laser or sth. similar.
THAT costs much more money as the registration itself.

The good thing:
For most of the "asian wannabe" manufacturers the registration is too complicated or to expensive

Not for russian wannabie

So why do they need to see the factory and stay in multi billion dollar hotels .

The can just test the film in there MATERIAL PRUFUNGS AMBT and get on with it.

They will give you a ABG number anyway ,whatever film you test !!!!

We even had ABG number for these holographic films

but hey, could be worse - like in switzerland try to get a registration for your films without being a swiss company - impossible

No problem to register.............
