You probably could, but there's another thread just like this one already. Save your cash and get the right tool for the job that will do a better job and last a lot longer.

what is going to be your main purpose for it?..are you a tinter? are you just going to use it to cut patterns, then sell them?

If you are cutting limited vinyl, yes. If you plan on cutting film, absolutely not. Unfortunately, to cut film you need a top-of-the line plotter. In addition, make especially sure that you purchase a plotter that offers 10 or lower g's of pressure. That is the key when looking at a plotter for film. Not many out there offer low pressure, but it is a necessity when cutting film, otherwise you are just blowing your money. If you plan on cutting one type of film such as reflective or the thicker tinted films, 10 g's will suffice. If you plan on cutting on more "sensative" colors, then you will want a lower pressure. All of those plotters on ebay, other than private sellers, are low-end junk that will crap out if used continually. Sorry to break the news to you, but just trying to bring you back into reality. I'm sure you will buy one anyway, but be forewarned. Good luck!

Thank you for the help. I'm more than happy to buy a more costly cutter if that's what I need I just never have had any experience with them so I didn't want to pay for more machine than i need. its main use will be cutting window film

The FC7000 series has been discontinued, I tried to find a new one. That's why I have an FC8000 series now. I do love it, doesn't seem to matter what you load it with. lol

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
