Want to do spend some money on marketing my website . Hoping to ween of yellow pages over the next year or so . Any one that has done SEO or payper click could you give me some info on it . Starting to research and getting different answers and prices . I went with a guy now to find out the price he is charging me is for only 1 keyword. I am looking into doing SEO that concentrates in my local area . I got a price for 4 phrases and he wants $250 for the 1st 6 months and $150 per month to maintain it after.

I also have an offer from ATT that will do 50 key phrases that charges $210 per month for 90 clicks . Right now i show up on local business under google .

Any suggestions on the most cost effective route to take ?

Pay per click is an effective short term strategy of achieving a presence on the search engines.
It will not optimise your website reflect what you are promoting.
The main drawback with PPC is one once you stop paying your presence also disappears just as quick.while A well executed SEO plan will enable you to finely tune your website so that it reflects who you are and what you are promoting. Also organic or natural listings will last long after the money you have set aside for your paid campaign has run out.

Why not find a local car forum and buy a section. It normally like 20 to 40 bucks a month
