I'm sorry If posting this offends anyone.
I would never trust such a do it yourself product for a car tint job where you really need an experienced pro to get it just right. however, I only need to do a small flat glass project at home, so I was hoping to use this, or contact paper to avoid the $10/sq.ft cost of a cheaper residential tint contractor.
Talk about stretching the truth on that site, sheeesh
Maybe you should get a few estimates first before ruling out a professional job.
you get what you pay for
go to your local tint shop and have them do it!!!!! support your local tint shop especially during tough economic times!!!!!!!!

I don't know what kind of film you are getting installed for a small job that is $10/sq. If your just looking for a basic film for some heat rejection and privacy, you should easily be able to find a reputable shop in your area for $4-5/sq with a good quality film. Not the best, but a good film. I charge anywhere from $4-11/sq, but it all varies greatly based upon the film, job size, etc.
I would not consider doing one for less than $8/sq ft but thats just me
10 years ago I was doing my base at $5 per ft2.....I wouldn't consider doing it that cheap today unless it was over 1000 ft2

damn!
