Full Version: 98 chevy truck

I have a problem with my truck, and I'm not a electrical nut

I have a 98 chevy silv. with daytime running lights. I noticed last night when I pulled it into the shop that both headlights were out, but the parking lights were on.

I can turn the switch to the parking lights, and the running lights come on, but when I switch it to the headlamps, they cut off

While the headlamps are on, the high beams still work, so is it possible that both headlamps went out at the same time, and I thought that there was only one bulb in that socket dunno.gif

Fuses or the switch(parking lights & headlights) or the high/low beam light switch. On my van it was the high/low beam switch. thumb.gif

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
