i had a job lined up for my mates dad , remove old tint and re tint it,

i get there at 2 pm today thinking ok this is gonna suck cause it was purple and bubbled on back screen , anyway 4 hours later its all stripped bar 1 window which wont take long but i called it a day after slipping with the razor blade and snapping off the interior door lock that pops up and down , at least tomorrow morning i can strip the last window then clean then tint then all il have to do is replace that damn plastic door lock when i can find one at a wrecker (90's model mitsubishi galant - not the most common car here in australia)

fun times , sucks even more cause its for a really cheap price cause its my mates dad krazy.gif

Keep your head up bro ,we all have days like that from time to time.... beer.gif
mates
haha thanks filmslayer , yeh i went back today finished it off unfortunately outside cause there was no garage all went well except i creased the back window i still laid it on but it looks a bit sh!t and a storm was brewing so i jsut told him il redo it when i come back to tint another one of their cars.

i used a cheap film because it was a really cheap job and they were happy with the short warrenty and it likes to crease easy and not shrink the best but ya get that when you play with rubbish once the few rolls of the cheap stuff are through il just insist on quality film make my life easier to say the least.

i like that saying !

unfortunately i was not removing this panel i just push the rubbers down on this car i tried to remove one panel but couldnt get it after 10 mins so tryed pushing the rubber down and it worked well. i do normally pull panels if i have to, i slipped with scraper blade whilst removing the old tint and hit directly on the lock button thing and snapped it clean in half.

although had to take trim off to replace it now i know how to get those trims off in about 1 minute flat never come across them before instead of having push in clips into the door they have to slide downwards to go on so up to come off.

It happens! I have a toolbox drawer full of clips from all kinds of different models for just that reason! I have a box with those clips that hold window cranks on to cause they fly away sometimes and you can't find those little boogers!

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
