door triggers

Been out of the alarm business for a few years and have started to do it again. Alot of the new cars have multi wires for each door to trigger when a door opens and have to doiode each wire. . Isnt it possible just to go to the dome light and get a wire that changes when the light goes on ?

No... because after a set amount of time the vehicle computer puts the domelight wire to ground causing the alarm to false....
