I am new to the field of Private Investigation. In fact, I just got my license today. (Well, I got the certified stamp of approval from the state. My license will not come in the mail for a while.) What are the exceptions to tint laws for Private Investigators? Does anyone know? Thanks for your help!

Check with D.O.T,as far as I know the only exemptions are for medical and agricultural...
Around here there are none for P.I.'s

I am a PI here in Mississippi and I have a exemption for my tint. Here in this state, like most others you have to have a medical exemption in order to have tint darker than usual.

You forget there are certain of us out there with MEDICAL PERMITS that allow us to go as dark as we please. I being one of them and my windows are 5%, I got pulled over showed the state trooper my permit and he left without a word said.

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
