Tinting a 2008 colorado tonight..

Im tinting a 2008 colorado regular cab with manual windows... any suggestions? Are the panels easy off and on or can I just pull the gaskets?

You'll love doing that truck!!! Couple screws in the door handle, the window crank, and the corner black cap on the top right corner! Off in minute and a 1/2. to the forum!

Thanks alot! Im still new to tinting but right now its a thing do on the side. Ill put some pictures of it up when I get it done.

Oh and I forgot do the rear views come off easy? Someone told me they suck and to tint around it.

take a t-15 torx bit to the mirror. this truck is so easy...actually i forgot that i drive that exact model lol.

Yep easy truck to tint, keep an eye on the side gap of the side windows. They are bad about showing tint edges. Easy install tho.

Thats good, I read all them horror stories about people breaking the glass trying to remove the rear view.. I think this is the 20th car that I've tinted so far, not too bad for just doing it here and there for people I know.. I am planning on doing advertising and getting cars in every weekend to do though.

newer ford truck are the one that really suck .thank god for being next door to a glass shop ,they make it look so easy

The fords suck! My 2006 f150 was a $%@$ to do because of all the felt I had to tape it all up. It turned out nice though

TAPING IS MINIMAL ON THOSE DOORS AND COLORADOS ARE FREAKIN EASY WHY WOULD YOU TAKE OFF THE THE DOOR PANELS EXTRA TIME =LESS MONEY GET WITH THE PROGARM HAAAS

Ok, well I did it! It turned out pretty nice I did 35% all around with a 5% strip. What I did with the doors was just pop the tops of the panel out, much easier then trying to tuck it imo.

Yea it is pretty boring it used to have alot of stuff up but it gets used for painting by my dad so paint mist usually kills everything haha. It took me a little longer then a hour because I was fighting with the door panel clip falling out

its got 2 stripper poles one of them is in the picture lol
