let put together a marketing plan !!!!

We are all going to be sitting on our arses the next couple months . We should use that time to market our business for next spring . Why dont we all say some marketing tip that has worked out good for your company . Auto residential , commercial .

I'll go first. I started going to all the glass shops and for every 2 cars they send me i give them a coupon for a free tint on 1 side door or quarter. They just send the customer down with the coupon and i also try to sell him an alarm . they get to bill the insurance company $50 extra at no cost to them .

imo, everyone shall keep their marketing plans to themselves. Thats what makes a successful business successful. & fortunately im sure not everyone is sittin' on their azzz. So in short I'll just keep my marketing plan that took me years to build to myself. Why let your competition see your plans

I'm just heading into the busiest part of the season with remote starters, hardly have time to think about marketing the tint side right now. Come spring it will shift back over though.

Here's one for ya! Somebody posted on here that they get the menu from there local pizza shop and had the owner allow them to pay for the printing of there menues with there coupon printed on it with a discount on auto and flat glass! When they deliver pizza the menu is on the top of the box! I tried this by having 2500 menues printed and landed a 1300 squ ft catholic church school to tint along with quite a few cars! I'm gonna keep doing this because the return was instant! I got this tip off of the Tintdude forum and did the Catholic school last week! If it weren't for someone being nice enough to share the info i would have never got that job! I understand being protective but giving back to the forum where your gaining so much is so worth it!

I Have often referred people to other companies mostly for auto tint, because I do not tint cars. I don't think I even got one job yet thrown back from auto an auto tint shop. I have given leads to other film companies too, mostly jobs that are too far away or to big and do not want to get involved with, and I have had small jobs thrown back my way. I am in Chicago if any auto tinters would like to work something out. I advertise all over and most people do not like to travel more then 20 minutes to get a car done. I also due the flat glass stuff most people walk away from just let your customers you sent them that way I can return the favor, sometimes I forget to ask.
