different strokes for different folks. twocents.gif

I pull panels all day long....only takes an extra couple of minutes and I find I get alot faster/cleaner install, plus I know how low the second gasket is to be sure to get below it. Everybody does things differently...to each his own. I used to do it without panel removal, but now I remove. Who cares as long as the job gets done and done right. dunno.gif

It doesnt matter to me...I was just saying is all. I pull panels on some cars...especially the new Lexus IS with the tweeters on the panel next to the mirror. Not matter what I did, I couldnt get it w/o panel removal. Also, on some Volvo's.

Those panels have 3 10mm bolts that come off and the end cap in the upper corner and it pops right off! Takes less then 3 minutes! The gasket comes right out and you got all the room in the world! Makes it alot easier to clean old tint and glue that's low in the panel!

if the rubber gasket is lose and easy and lots of room stick it in. if she is tight as a bioutch, strip the bmw2.gif just like a woman. some time we have to kick um in the ace.
shaded04
Yeah I dont think it has anything to do with the way you were trained.... Because the methods I used today are nothing like how I was showed to do this.. You can watch someone tint all day long and still not have a clue of how to get the flim out of the box!! You have to find out what works the best for you!! Quality is the key!!! Never compomise... Word of mouth is the best advertisement... Really i feel its all about personal preference!!! twocents.gif

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
