I'm tinting my buddy's 2004 Chevrolet Avalanche tomorrow and i happen to notice that on these trucks there is no nice black ceramic stuff as in most newer truck back windows. However the back window can be removed very easily. Is there any way to make an accurate cut around the hard plastic edges ? all help is greatly appreciated !

heat it up a lil with your heat gun ...put the blad out very very short on a small angle then trim away
Pit Stop
Definitely pull the glass out it makes it much easier. Cut it on outside a little long then flip the glass over and re trim it on the inside. If it has the defroster you will have to cut out the 2 little metal tabs at the top.
Good luck. thumb.gif
SIR TINTSALOT
yeah, trim the plastic back a little and cut it a little big so you don't have any gap. And clean the hell out of it too

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
