Hi all,

New here, but have just purchased a Roland CAMM-1 plotter for cutting window tint. Does anyone have any advice on the angle of blade to use and any of the other settings for the plotter - force etc.

Also, I'm looking at the different software available. I'm in the UK and at the moment have only found Bekaert who supply ComputerCut. Does anyone know of any other UK based companies supplying window tint cutting software?

Cheers,
Tom

bingo.gif for most vinyl and films, unless they're thick like metallic vinyl or heat press vinyl and the such, then you need a 60 degree, unless you don't mind buying more blades from them getting dull.

See if Roland UK supplies a 25 degree blade like we do here in the U.S. You can get by on a 45 degree blade, but a 25 will cut tint more consistently. A 60 degree blade should only be used for PPF.

I use a 30' blade. Is there much of a difference between a 30' and a 25' ?

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
