Quick fix for Pinnacle F1 Ceramic Tint

Hi Everyone,
I have an 08 BMW 335 Coupe and there is an issue with the tint on the drivers side window. Since the windows go up and down a little bit when you open the door, the tint on the window folded. I took it back to the shop and they trimmed it looks fine problem solved. Not really... the edge of the tint where they trimmed is no longer adhered to the window.
Is there a glue or sealant that I can use to secure the tint to the window so that it does not peel again? How can I fix this without damaging the film for the long term?
Thanks!

best thing to do is just send it back and insist that it needs to be redone.

Would it matter if I added that the issue with the film is occuring below the window line and wont be visible from inside or outside the car. The main problem is that there is a piece of rubber trim that it could get caught on again. They have already redone 4 of 5 windows....

And the sad thing is that this was supposed to be the 'high-end' top quality shop in Seattle

Will they be able to fix it or are they going to have to do that window for a third time?

The point of my original post is that I don't want to not use my window for another week and not have my car for a day, etc.

If yes, what glue? No, do not glue it. You paid for a service that has not been done properly. I would either ask for a removal and money back, or dispute the charge (if you used a cc for purchase) with your cc company since the work is not up to par. Then through either this forum or your own research find a reputable shop that can handle this install properly the first time around. I'm sorry you have had such a bad experience, most of the time getting your windows tinted is a fun and hassle free experience. You might also want to consider contacting the manufacturer to let them know about your poor experience.

Hi All,
I am very aware of the fact that they should replace it. I know for a fact that they would - they are very good about that. In fact they will do it as many times as I want them too.
Essentially, I do not want to endure the hassel of doing it over again - not having the car for the day (I drive for work) - not putting the window down for 5 days.
Considering the fact that the tint is fine and cosmetically you would not be able to see if it has been glued, taped, whatever, I would like to just take care of it. Is it possible (regardless of what you might think that I should do)?

How about this... I have found another shop with great references and pictures from people who have gone there with my exact same car. I am going to take it there and see what he thinks.
Thanks for the advice everyone. Apologies if I came accross as difficult.

Is it possible (regardless of what you might think that I should do)? Glueing, taping, whatever is not an option with window film. Especially from a F1 dealer on a BMW. F1 dealers are supposed to be the best of the best(I believe there is like a $5000 minimum buy in?), and I know if I was the owner, I would be EXTREMELY upset that I had to redo a window on a car multiple times, let alone multiple windows multiple times. Take it back, and either demand that they fix it 100% so that you do not need to keep coming back, or have them strip the whole care and refund your money. If they give you the run around or BS like its going to be fine, ask that they call their film rep from Pinnacle and that you would like the speak to them about their shops service. I know that their company will take your complaint very seriously, and will do whatever they can to make you happy. You are the customer, and you paid top dollar for your film and install. You deserve to have the film installed correctly, so that you don't have any problems. From what you are saying, you are most definately righ tin this case, so do not settle for anything that is half assed.
For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
