BOOM

HERES A FIRST FOR ME................guy came in with a 06 ford focus 4 door on Sat. said he just had a rear window put in his car on Wed. his son had thew a rock thourgh it, and need it tinted to match the sides. easy job right wrong..... Pulled the car in wiped the window down with my ivory rag and let it haze and started shinking my film like i always do. got the left side done moved over to the right side and started working fingers out at the top with the pull method and ka boom back glass is laying in the back seat. THe glass wasn't even warm any one who knows the dry shrink knows it dont take much heat as wet. any ideas to what happen cause im at a lost.

Maybe it wasn't put in right and when it expanded it probably didn't have enough room?
Idk I'm no glass man but thats the only possible thing I could think of.

Yea when them rear glasses break they really go far. HUGE MESS

Glass imperfection..... a bubble or a chip on the edge behind seal that you probably couldn't see

nightmare buddy! WHat did the customer say? how'd they deal with it...
