Hey everyone, I'm a intermediate level tinter looking to invest money in a set of videos to expand my skills. I have been tinting for about a year so I already know how the tinting process works, I still haven't perfect my techniques yet. I can do side pretty well but still have some trouble doing rear. I also plan to start up a business once I get this down to perfection. There is a 14hr tinting DVDs from stan that I was curious about. I would to ask anyone who has seen these videos would recommend it to an average tinter like myself. How much have the videos helped you? Are the contents in the videos good enough to prepare me for any real life situation in a shop?

Others can give you their opinion but I can tell you that you will have to practice the methods on the dvd’s then practice some more depending on your skills now. Seems like I remember talking to you on the phone or email but don’t remember how you are forming the rear windows now. Perfection is something I’m still working on! They will cut some of the frustration and time in learning easier cleaner faster ways but still you must practice.
Hang around TD, put your location on your post (people like that here) and you will learn a lot just by being here. You can use the search feature at the top of the page on the right to find lots of info from past threads on TD. If possible watch another tinter too.
cheers

Hey Jarrett, this daylight savings time is hard for me to get used to. I don’t know when to stop fishing!!!!! I’m headed to New Mexico in a few days but the 888 404 84 68 number goes to my cell. Just give me a call when you get a chance, sometimes I am easier to reach in the evening. I answer the help line to about 9pm
Cheers

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
