GOT A NEW GUY JUST MOVED TO TOWN AND BEFORE EVEN OPENING HE IS OUT AN ABOUT TALKING SMACK. WHAT DO YA DO? I MYSELF LAUGHED AT FIRST BUT THEN HAVE GOTTEN A BIT IRRITATED. I DONT DO BUSINESS THAT WAY BUT APPARENTLY HE DOSE. HES OUT SPREADING THE WORD THAT 'SUNTEK' FILM IS CHEAP AND HAS MAJOR WARRANTY ISSUES. TELLING PEOPLE IT WILL GO BAD WITHIN A YEAR OR TWO. THIS SAME GUY IS USING 'ADVANTAGE' (AEGIS) FILM, WITCH ACCORDING TO MY SOURCES THEY ARE HAVING MAJOR PRODUCTION ISSUES DO TO THEY BROKEN MACHINES. SO ANYWAY HOW DOSE A REPUTABLE SHOP DEAL WITH A GUY OF THE SMACK TALKIN, OTHER THAN THE BUSINESS WAY OF JUST REASUREING OLD AND NEW CUSTOMERS THAT WHAT HE IS SAYING IS FAULSE AND HE NEEDS TO GENERATE BUSINESS SOMEHOW. ANY INPUTES??

Let him!!! It looks bad on him to do dirt bag sales like that anyway. Just do your thing and build your customers . Your clientel follows you because of how you take care of them!

Just let them run their mouth your work will speak for itself. Aegis is having production problems, they are out of film all the time just today they sent a half a roll of film because they didn't have it, and they don't ever tell you when you order they just send what they have.

No shiat! I just tried ordering 40 inch ADN 15% and they told me they would have to ship it Saturday! I like those guys and there film but this can't keep happening! And like you Tenn. they've sent me partial rolls when they didn't have enough! WTF!!! Sorry didn't mean to hijack the thread!

The same person he dropped it with.....

Easy sell there... His sh!t was done and out the door by the end of the day...

Don't join in the slinging it puts you in the same catergory as your comp and that's a reputation that sticks. If you feel the need to fight back do it subtly.... spend a few dollars on a new sign or banner...a simple message that says something like servicing 'whosville' since ( it will by longer than your competeitor) with consistant and unfailing quality.... more people will see your sign than will talk to him and your not seen to be directly b*tching about your competitor.

I would like to see the photos, it must have been to have the HP or carbon series that went bad cause my friend bought my 98 Accord off me that I did 5 yrs ago and still looks almost like the day I did it. Yeah dam near everything will fade a bit over time but it still looks GREAT!!!

Thanks for the support everyone. who all out there uses some type of tint tech, Iv'e tried useing them but cant do vehicles is fast or run into pattern problems not fitting. I guess im just old school. I have over the yrs when it comes to truck or most stationary glass have built an abundence of patterns useing the clear liner. Anybody else useing the same technique?

We've had 2 shops in 2 years that started up by doing that, one actually was saying we were talking smack about them before they even opened. I don't know how you can say stuff about something you didn't even know exsisted. I did nothing,, they lasted less than a year.

suntek films will speak for themselves... and i've used both advantage and carbon... and imho, carbon is far better looking and will endure wayyy longer than any aegis film in the market. good luck bro!
