hello. i have a 2008 subaru impreza outback sport and i used a type of rim cleaner that had acid in it when i should not have. it took off some of the finishing off the rims, and now it looks like the rims are wet in some areas and dripping. can anyone help me with the best way to repaint the rims, or fix them up? please help

Sand them and repaint.. But wait.. What cleaner did you use?

I use a small airbrush for edges.. But if the whole wheel is messed u using a touchup gun would be nicer..

i used a cleaner from black magic shine and i was suppose to use something that was acid free

Clean with some wax/grease remover and see how bad.. If it really bad.. Repaint wheel..

Plan on a lot of time comsuming work..

Sand Sand and Sand.. Tape tape tape and paint ....

10% paint all other prep...
