What tint do you recommend for an 06 CLS500 in Pewter Silver Metallic? The car has the factory blue tint glass and the tint is going all around except for the windshield. I don’t want to go below 35% and I do want it to look good.
TIA.

Should've added that I see there are few choices listed on this site (Suntek 50% hp Blue, Johnsons 50, Madico 50 blue) but they all seem to be metalized/dyed. Are there any choices in carbon or ceramic as I don't want any radio/gps/phone interference? Also, I'm looking for a good installer in SoCal.
You arent limited to using a blue film. Since the windows on the car have a blue tone to them a normal film will cause the blue to be a little more pronounced. If your looking to deepen the blue color a shade or two than a blue film might be what youre looking for. So depending on your motives just about any non- metal or ceramic film would be a good choice with ceramic being the better performer when it comes to heat rejection.
i have put metalized film on these cars before without issues. pretty much any film u put (charcoal, smoke, hp) on is gonna take away from the blue and will look like any normal window.

Obviously you've never done too many benzes, because a charcoal film makes the blue more pronounced, I really like the way it looks on MBs. To the TS, heres what it looks like with 20% on the fronts and 5% on the back. I know it was a overcast day so you can't really tell the dif, but it is there. ![]()
Tintin in the snow... ahhh good times. Looks great

Thats true I've only done a couple of benzos in my career. 2 or 3 maybe. They pretty much cancel it out. What kind of film is on that e class scotty? i did like the way that looked. i dont see that on the cars ive done tho.
I didn't literally mean that you had never done that many cars before it was more of a general statement.
It was SG Supreme that I used on it, 28% and 8%. To me, it is still just as noticeable in your 3rd car, only the lighting conditions of my pictures are worse. We all know how horrible it is trying to photograph film. Did every one of those cars have the blue glass to begin with? Because I've done a lot that don't, because I believe it is an option on the car like everything else?
For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
